So as you can guess from the title Bernardo drew The Light. It’s awesome, and you can read it at https://grinder91.wordpress.com/the-light-2/ or on Bernardo’s Blog http://frattozero.blogspot.it/.
The feedback from the first readers has been amazing, they all said that they want more. I think it’s the best feedback I could get (especially since it was what I was going for).
On this topic I have both good news and bad news, let’s start with the good news: I’m expanding the Lighthouse setting and creating a story for our Boy to follow.
Now the bad news: there won’t be a second part of The Light in the foreseeable future. Bernardo is a busy guy and can’t work for free. If anything changes you’ll be the first to know.
By now I guess you’ll be wondering why I put WordPress in the post title, I have been thinking it over for a couple of days and I decided to try and move this blog on WordPress. I’ve tried to make the best out of Blogger, but it doesn’t fulfill my comic-posting needs in the least…
The process will last a while since wordpress is a little trickier than blogger and I’ll need to learn a little.
Now for some yucky stuff
These little fellows are Escherichia coli, they normally live in our lower intestine, and we expel at least 100 billion of them every day with feces.
Now the fun fact: they breed incredibly fast. Since I don’t want to bore you with the details I’ll just make an example: leave 1 E. coli cell alone with illimitate food for 24 hours and at the end you’ll have 4722366482869645213696 cells. That’s a shitload of bacteria.
But I know that the number alone won’t be enough for you, so I’m going to tell you how much the aforementioned shitload would weigh: 1416 motherfucking tons.
So see you next time. Come back for more awesome original comic books and complementary cool bacteria.
“From what?” you’ll be asking. Fear not, I have the awesomest explenation ever for not posting for so long, once you hear it your genitals will shrivel at the thought of such incredible epicness.
I had nothing to post about.
Don’t be sad… now I do.
My good friend Bernardo agreed to draw The Light, the short story I was telling you about in the last post, I think you can expect to see it here (and on his blog http://frattozero.blogspot.com/) before the end of june (at the latest).
Spam Games United (aka Door Games) continues to prosper, we’ve finally finished the Alchemist prototype but it sucked balls so we decided to kill the project for now.
PRI5M continues to be written and I think we’ll try to produce it this fall through Kickstarter, so save some money for us.
I’va also been working a lot by myself on a Tabletop Wargame called Warlords. The idea is to have a Warlord (a powerful hero) commanding Phalanxes, who fight in the name of a God. The game will involve deckbuilding with a ton of combinations and different strategies, so you’ll need to play it a couple of times before being any good (kinda like Magic).
Sooo I guess this is all for today’s post, stay tuned to get even more awesome updates on my work and complementary cool Arthropoda!
PS: this is a mantis shrimp (Stomatopoda) possibly the coolest crustacian on earth. It sees in 16 colours, its two clubs are so fast that water boils around it (cavitation) and produce little spots of light in the process (sonoluminescence). Some Stomatopoda have claws instead of clubs, but I personally think that clubs are cooler.
Soooo here we are… This is pretty awkward even though I know that noone is going to read this.
Well I just wanted to say hello to the unlucky people that are reading this, and additionally give a couple of updates on my work:
I’ve been working for a while (since this morning) on the script for “The Light”, a short comic book story. I hope I can find someone to draw it…
Together with a couple of friends I’ve been working on Boardgames and RPGs:
- Alchemist: a dice/card game where you craft objects and annoy opponents.
- PRI5M: a minimalist generic RPG ruleset for those of you who want fast and fun sessions.
Also I’ve been working on my own on a couple of Boardgames an RPGs:
- Reaper push: very basic tile placement game where you have to harvest souls.
- Lebanon: Blame! inspired extreme sci-fi RPG.
- Ichor: dark RPG where something horrible is living inside of you, and everyone wants it.
Sooo… That’s it folks. Thanks for reading this, here’s a complementary cool bug.
